The Arsenal Test: What Lies Ahead for Sheffield United in the Premier League.

High flying Arsenal take on Sheffield united that is deep in relegation battle. Will this be the match that the Blades launch their fight to stay in the EPL or it’s a match that Arsenal are to continue showcasing their ruthlessness in the league sofar this year.

Putting surprises aside and unfortunate happenings in the match. Everyone thinks Arsenal are to win with a goal difference of two (2) or more but how comfortable can it become. This comes down to the tactics that Arteta deploys. There are two factors that drive this Arsenal side.

The wingers and the striker that is the front three (3). If Bukayo Saka and Martinelli are at their best, the chances of a win are very high. Personally I thinks the key for Arteta unlocking the full potential of this squad is figuring out who to play strikers for a given match. Currently chosing between; Nketiah, Trossard, Jesus and Kai as these are the guys that have played striking for Arsenal.

In games where the opponents are happy to sit back and hope for counters, Trossard is the best fit because of his superior dribbling skill, poacher instinct and awareness. Teams with organized defences invite Havertz because of his aerial prowess, run in behind, rough play and he is German. Jesus is very Efficient in 50/50 games that both teams are pushing for a win. Nketiah is a tricky case, even the coach is still puzzled.

Against Sheffield tonight, Trosssrd should lead the line as the Blades will most likely sit back most of the time (hope so). If you are to count on someone to dribble through a defence, in this Arsenal team Trossard is a safe bet. It has been evident that Jesus is Mikel Arteta’s favourite for a striker but he is a fit for matches like first leg  fc Porto match and he will still be very vital for the return fixture.

For the other positions; the goal keeper won’t change, Ramsdale has one game left for him this season against Brentford. The defence will stay unchanged. Jorginho shouldn’t appear on the pitch as there is no need for a double pivot here. Rice must play CDM opening up space for more more creative guys from like smith Rowe.
